The Public Governance Working Group, organised by Vladimir Avetian and Edgar Jimenez Bedolla, is now Political Economy + AI, a seminar series jointly organised by King’s College London (King’s Institute for Artificial Intelligence) and Université Paris-Dauphine–PSL (ACSS).
Building on the working group’s focus on public governance, the series brings together researchers working at the intersection of political economy and AI and computational methods. Topics include applications of large language models, machine learning and text-as-data to questions in political economy.
The format welcomes completed papers, work in progress, early-stage projects, and presentations focused on methods, tools and research practices.
Sessions take place online on selected Mondays, 16:30–17:30 London / 17:30–18:30 Paris, with a 45-minute presentation followed by 15 minutes of discussion.
The autumn programme is available at peai-seminar.org. The ACSS seminar page will continue to be updated in parallel and will retain the archive of past sessions, maintaining continuity with the Public Governance Working Group.
